Why you should join the union:
The many benefits of union membership are discussed to some degree in the presentation made by Ms. Pam Richardson, and our association with the IFPTE to the AFL/CIO and Canadian Labour Council (CLC) are clearly delineated at their web site. As you may observe from the Current Events page at this web site, our Local has had significant influence not only within the fastest growing union in North America, but with NASA management as well.

Petition for Union Representation:
If you believe that the union should represent all HQ employees who are not in management or personnel, then look here.

How to contribute to the IFPTE PAC:
Be aware that it is illegal in most instances to take any direct political action with members of Congress as an individual, and that rather it is advisable to contribute what resources you can to a political action committee (PAC) that reflects your wishes in this regard.  The IFPTE's PAC solicits legislative actions that support federal employees' jobs, families, and employment issues in a manner consistent with our union's principles.
